Rakau Sticks
On Monday the 22nd of June, we practiced using Rakau sticks with Room 12. It was very hard get it exactly right but it was still fun, we had to choose a partner to do it with and it wasn't easy for me to find one but Miss Garland was able to find me one. So we started out great and it was a lot of fun but hard work as well, everyone had fun and so did I and I hope that we can do it again some time.

Powhiri Reflection
On Monday the 15th of June, Room 6 and 12B did our Powhiri for our Matariki, it was a pretty good one and we all had a nice time as well. Every one did a Maori song for each class, and Room 6 went to Room 12B so that 12B could do some presentations to show us, and also some people did there Mihi's to. Plus at the end it was fun to, because Room 12B and 6 had some food to eat as well and it was awesome, so we all had such an awesome time and everyone was very excited and couldn't wait to do it again on Wednesday the 17th or June.

Tech Challenge
On Friday the 5th of June instead of doing just normal technology, we had a special tech challenge for Hillary house. Everyone had to come up with something that could throw there ball the farthest, so we got into groups of 4 or 5 and started planing. It took a while longer then we thought but each person in a group had an idea for there project, we work all afternoon on it and when we all finished we each had a go testing each of our ideas to see which one went the farthest but my own didn't go so well. After everyone was finished presenting there project we announced the top 3 winners, and when all that was done we didn't have time to do anything else because in was so loud in the hall we didn't hear the bell so all the classes in Hillary were late for the end of school.
